As part of HD Hyundai Group's ongoing efforts to reinforce human rights management, HD Hyundai Oilbank has established a Human Rights Management Division under the ESG Promotion Council, with the aim of actively promoting human rights in 2022. And in line with our commitment and belief in internationally recognized principles for respecting human rights, we have established a Human Rights Commitment and implemented a Human Rights Management and Due Diligence Policy that applies to all employees and stakeholders both domestically and internationally, to protect and promote the human rights of our employees and related stakeholders.

Human Rights Commitment
HD Hyundai Oilbank and its affiliates are committed to respecting and
promoting human rights in accordance with the United Nations Universal
Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), the United Nations Guiding Principles on
Business and Human Rights (UNGPs), the OECD Guidelines for Multinational
Enterprises, the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct,
relevant human rights conventions and agreements of the International Labour
Organization (ILO), including the Declaration on Fundamental Principles and
Rights at Work, and the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive
(CSDDD).
HD Hyundai Oilbank and its affiliates endeavor to uphold the values of human
rights, labor, environment, and ethics across all regions and countries in which
we operate, in full compliance with applicable laws. We conduct our business in
line with internationally recognized human rights standards and are committed
to implementing concrete actions aligned with these principles. We carry out
periodic human rights due diligence to identify and prevent potential and actual
adverse human rights impacts. Where such risks are identified, we implement
corrective action plans and monitor the progress to mitigate and minimize
these risks. The outcomes are disclosed transparently.
HD Hyundai Oilbank and its affiliates have established a human rights
management governance system composed of the Board of Directors, a
dedicated Human Rights Management Division of the ESG Promotion Council,
relevant departments, and a specialized team. This structure ensures that
human rights are respected throughout the organization and across our
operations. Through this governance, we develop and advance our human
rights policies, report and oversee major issues through the Human Rights
Management Division of the ESG Promotion Council, conduct human rights
impact assessments, implement necessary improvements, and provide
remediation for human rights grievances.
Recognizing the nature of our industry, HD Hyundai Oilbank and its affiliates
specifically manage and monitor human rights issues related to working
conditions, occupational health and safety at worksites, benefit sharing and
effective engagement with business partners, and responsibilities toward the
environment and local communities.
HD Hyundai Oilbank and its affiliates will strive to engage in continuous dialogue
and cooperation with stakeholders, including employees, business partners,
consumers, and local communities. In cases where conflicts arise between
company policies and applicable local or international laws, we will comply with
legal requirements while upholding our commitment to internationally
recognized human rights standards, including those articulated in the UNGPs.

HD Hyundai Oilbank conducts annual human rights impact assessments to identify, assess, and manage human rights risks, while ensuring the objectivity, credibility, and expertise of the assessments through consultation with external expert organizations. In 2025, the Company conducted human rights impact assessments using an advanced methodology that reflects laws, regulations, and international norms related to supply chain due diligence. Based on HD Hyundai Group indicators, the Company developed human rights impact assessment items tailored to HD Hyundai Oilbank in line with global standards and industry characteristics, and expanded the scope of due diligence sites compared to the previous year. In addition, the Company develops and implements phased improvement tasks to address the risks identified and continuously monitors implementation status by establishing monitoring indicators.
